For the past 32 years in this college, he has continuously committed rapes upon rapes. Rancho : [to Rastogi] He meant, "Miracles upon miracles.
Chatur Ramalingam aka 'Silencer' : I hope he continues to do so. We often wondered how a person in his lifetime can do these many rapes.

Chatur Ramalingam aka 'Silencer' : Today, we all students are here. Tomorrow, we'll spread across so many countries. I promise you all, whichever country we are in, there we'll rape! We'll bring glory to the name of ICE! We'll show everyone the ability to rape that students over here have. No other student across the globe has it! He told Rancho that they should meet at the same place, and at the same time. September 5, ten years later, at the same time, Chatur kept his promise and went to the same place where he challenged Rancho.
He also called his two friends and told them that Rancho is coming. In their college days, Rancho was known to be as a genius, brave, and a person who is full of wisdom for he is the one who can only challenge and face the great Virus.
Of course, Rancho was not exempted. When he arrived and saw the scene he look confused and his seniors found him quickly telling him to drop his pants off. He did not. Even though one of his seniors had already poured water inside his pants.
Of course, one of his seniors is also stubborn. He went after Rancho into his room. Knocking that he should come outside. Everyone was flustered of what he did. No one did the same as what he did. As he was about to piss to his door, Rancho created this quick invention of his and when his senior pissed on it, he was electrified. After that, everyone was scared to be near Rancho when he came out the room just to get his water container, even his seniors was scared. You see, in this scene, Rancho showed them, his seniors and even to the freshmen that they do not need to follow what their seniors will tell them to do.
Show to them that no one is inferior. That even though they are your seniors, you must know your boundaries. Do not be scared just because they are on the higher year than you. It does not prove anything. With his invention, it was explained that salt water is a great conductor of electricity.
Pretty much all of them knows it, even studied about it but Rancho was the only one who applied it. Koel birds do not make their own nest but instead they lay eggs on other nests and when they hatch, koel birds push the other eggs out of the nest, dropping an egg. Making the competition over. Before entering the college, they had taken a test, an entrance exam, and those who were not able to passed the exams, their eggs was already crushed by them who were able to passed and enter the college to study.
All the time, Rancho listened and paid attention to what Mr. Virus was saying in front. He even compared a pen as a sign of excellence, where his former teacher had given to him long time ago. Virus failed to see for the past 32 years. Because Mr.
Virus had stated before that pens do not work in the outer space so scientist had spent a lot and developed an astronaut pen. Rancho also added that the scientists could have saved millions.
Virus was left speechless. Different scenario, same lessons. Rancho had stated many words of wisdom for the duration of the movie; one of this is what he told to millimeter. Because as you see, it involves money. Anything that simplifies work, or saves time, is a machine. Especially, a construction, more or les complex consisting of a combination of moving parts, or simple mechanic elements, as wheels, levers, cams, etc.
That is knowledge. There was also an another character who was just like Rancho, Joy Lobo. He was so passionate with what he was doing until Mr. Virus had crushed everything, his dreams, his hopes. He committed suicide. Their difference is that Rancho had been very positive from the start until the end. But Joy Lobo could not stay positive. He quit life and ended it. He was so positive that he could graduate that year with his invention, a mini helicopter that has a camera.
It can be use as a surveillance to a traffic and even in security. He was asking for an extension of deadline with Mr. But what Mr.
Virus did was very mad. He made John Lobo call his parents and he talked to them. John talked and explained to Mr. Virus that he was so close in succeeding to his invention, he just wanted a little time, an extension. But Mr. Virus did not give him any. Just his sympathy as he says so. They were taught how to get good grades and settle in the U. Their school might be rank as the no. Being rank as number one is not important. It is about learning and gaining knowledge.
It increases the pressure. Yes, it is also our fault as a student that we may be weak on handling those pressures out upon our shoulders.
Yes, we know that we are being trained for the outside world. You see being educated is very important than being trained. Or might as well balance the two: train and educate. When his friends were bribed with Mr. Virus, Rancho encouraged them not to be scared and not to worry.
It is just Mr. Virus is their teacher, they grade them, he needed the good grades to get a job. Raju needed to have a job badly when he graduates because he has to support his family, feed them. To avoid any damage Mr. Virus might do to them.
These are again another set of words of wisdom from Rancho. He does not believe that having a good grade will lead you to having or earning a lot of money. He does not believe that money leads to success. It must be excellence. To be excellent, you need to study not just for any reason but to be accomplished.
Being accomplished does lead you on not just having a good job but also to success together with excellence. This is suppose to be what we should feel right now as a student myself studying in a college. But at least we would feel that accomplishment every semester in whatever we do. Instead we were put under pressure, too much pressure without any assurance of passing.
We were encaged of the idea that we cnnot do anything, not even question them because we are just students, they are our professors. Rancho still wanted to emphasize here how you should not study to absorb large amount of informations with a short amount of time. In studying, you must understand and comprehend each topic and words for you to be able to gain knowledge. That is a knowledgeable person. Rancho had inspired many people not just in the movie nut also outside the movie, us the viewers.
One of his most famous line is the,. When asked about it, he said that he learned about the heart, that the heart could be scared easily.
Being scared does not get you anywhere so trick it, trick the heart. Try it yourself. Rancho is indeed a very inspiring man for all of us, as he made us all realize that education is what we really need for the success of our future.
He even taught us the value of friendship: that friends are our second family and we should value them. Through ups and downs, true friends will always be there for you. Rancho was branded as an outstanding student in the movie as he became an eye opener to everyone. Virus once told him that he is not right all the time. Virus wanted to emphasize that even though we are smart and genius in terms of intellectual capabilities, we do not know everything.
We should stay humble at all times. We, as a human being, tend to make mistakes and it is only natural. We should learn to accept every criticism that will be thrown at us. As a young boy, Rancho really is eager to learn new things. But he did what he told to millimeter, to go to school without tuition, just uniform.
He even pretended to be the Rancho and answered all his assignemts until he was caught by a teacher. He even wanted him to continue pretending as the Rancho. I mean, who is he to say no to education. But to him, certificates are nothing, those creits are nothing as long as he acquires a lot of knowledge.
To acquire all those kowledge and apply it. He does not really just settle for the knowledge alone. He really wanted it to apply in real life. Ever since he was young he is fascinated with machines.
Though it is quite sad for all of us after knowing that he is not the real Ranchoddas Shamaldas Chanchad. We had that strong feeling that Chhote must have all those credits especially after what he had done and on how many people he had inspired. He does not even let his emotions overtake his life.
I mean, he did a good job out there for not telling anyone of who he is. Even when he found friends where he considered as family and even with the girl she likes. It may be his choice to cut connections with everyone, but it is the path that he sees to achieve his goals, his interest to invent new things. Ten years is very long time. He endured all of that. Not even a single call to his friends. I think in these times, Chhote just really wanted to explore and learn new things. In those times, Chhote had made his way into success.
His friends found him in the place called Ladakh. The school was filled with kids. Then there they assumed that Rancho became a mere school teacher. But actually he was the Phunsukh Wangdu, a world-renowned inventor with over four hundred patents, with whom Chatur seeks a contract. You see, you cannot really judge a person based on what he is in his younger days. Everyone is full of passion. We all have our own ways on dealing with things differently.
Chhote sees life differently. We can all actually agree to this since the beginning of the movie. Below is the first song which was played at the beginning of the movie when his friends and Chatur was in the journey to look for him. The songs clearly describes Rancho in such ways. Behti hawa sa tha wo, udti patang sa tha wo He was like the flowing breeze, he was like the flying kite Kahaan gaya use dhoondo Where has he gone, search for him.
Hum ko to raahen thi chalaati woh khud apni raah banaata We used to walk on paths while he made paths for himself Girta sambhalta masti mein chalta tha woh He used to fall down, then get up, and walk around in excitement. Hum ko kal ki fikar sataati woh bas aaj ka jashn manaata We used to be tensed for tomorrow, while he used to enjoy today day completely Har lamhe ko khul ke jeeta tha wo He used to live every moment fully. Kahaan se aaya tha wo, chhoo ke hamaare dil ko From where had he come, he touched our hearts Kahaan gaya use dhoondo Where has he gone, search for him.
Sulagti dhoop mein chhaon ke jaisa registaan mein gaaon ke jaisa He was like a shade in the burning sun, and like a village in the middle of the desert Mann ke ghaav pe marham jaisa wo He was like the ointment of the wound on the heart. Rancho replied by saying that he was not teaching engineering either, he was simply teaching the Dr how to teach.
The next day, Dr Sahastrabuddhe wrote a letter for Farhan and Raju's parents. The letter implied that both Farhan and Raju have taken a wrong path in college. Both of them were called home, and Rancho, mentioned as the main cause for this wrongness, follows along. His presence caused him and his two friends to be kicked out of Farhan's house, while both he and Farhan voluntarily denied eating some bread in Raju's house after finding out that the pin Raju's mom used to make the bread was also used to scratch Raju's paralysed dad.
Since the three friends couldn't seem to get any food from any of their parents' houses, the three of them wandered the streets aimlessly. At that moment, the three of them found out that a wedding was taking place not too far from them, so they walked into the wedding to eat some food while pretending to be guests.
Rancho, having an interest in Pia, wanted to prove to her that Suhas didn't love her. This took a turn for the worst, when the three 'idiots' found out that the wedding is actually Dr Sahastrabuddhe's daughter's wedding, and that Pia is the bride's younger sister.
Rancho tried to convice the Dr that he was in the wedding to take care in case something goes wrong with the electricity, up to the point that he would make an inverter using the Dr's name. When all of Rancho's lies were not accepted, the three friends scampered away. This is the first time Rancho met Pia, and he fell in love with her. Before graduating from ICE, Rancho made a bet with Chatur, claiming that in ten years' time, he would be more successful.
Rancho went on to graduate first in his class. It was revealed that the Rancho they knew was known as Chhote, the son of the Chanchad family's gardener. With his father being a gardener, Chhote's family couldn't have enough income to give him a proper education.
So he often snuck into school in order to learn. This was taken advantage of by the real Rancho, who asked for Chhote to do his tests and homework each day, but the situation changed when a teacher found Chhote doing a 10th grader's math when he was just at the age of a 6th grader. In order to keep the pride of the Chanchad family, Chhote was instead told to pretend to be Rancho and finish his education, so that Rancho could get his diploma without having to enter college.
This offer is taken well by Chhote, who used the name Ranchoddas Shamaldas Chanchad to pursue the education he had longed for. After Chhote graduated from ICE, he kept his promise and gave back his diploma to the Chanchad family and cut all contact with his friends from ICE, but he also mentions that 'one day, there will be two idiots looking for him'.
The real Rancho also mentioned that Chhote missed his friends a lot, and that he was now a schoolteacher in Ladakh. After hearing the story about their friend, Farhan and Raju decided to go to Ladakh in search of Chhote. Beforehand, they stopped by at a heartbroken Pia's wedding in order to stop her from marrying Suhas.
Farhan, Raju, Chatur, and Pia found the school written on the address given to them by Rancho and found many clues of Chhote's presence in the school, including many unique inventions which they believed only Chhote could create.
The end of the movie shows Chhote playing with a few kids besides a lake.
